How Termite Baiting Works
Baiting systems use specially formulated cellulose stations that termites feed on in preference to surrounding timber. The bait contains a slow-acting insect growth regulator that worker termites carry back to the colony, sharing it with the queen and nestmates.
Over a period of weeks to months, the entire colony is eliminated — not just the foragers. Stations are then left in place and monitored to detect any future activity before it becomes a problem.
In-Ground vs Above-Ground Baiting
We use both in-ground stations installed around the perimeter of your property and above-ground stations placed directly onto active workings inside or outside the building. The right combination depends on your situation.
